Bri Nixie recently earned her bachelor’s degree in urban and community studies and women’s, gender, and sexuality studies from the University of Connecticut. During her internship with Planned Parenthood Votes! Connecticut, she worked on increasing gender equity, promoting sexual and reproductive health, and reducing gender-based harm and violence. Bri is passionate about gender, race, and class equity. She hopes to develop, implement, and evaluate community-based strategies and solutions for social policy issues at the local, state, and federal levels. She is from Manchester, Connecticut.
