Timothy Nelson

Timothy Nelson recently earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from Rhodes College, where he focused on the relationship between nonprofits and their funders. Through being a Bonner Scholar, he worked closely with multiple nonprofits within the city of Memphis. Timothy most recently worked with an investment group where he sought out organizations that were dedicated to fighting systemic poverty but lacked the funds to do so. Timothy also spent a summer performing research at Vanderbilt University, where he focused on the economic and policy history of nonprofits and foundations in the U.S.
