Diyarhi Roy

Diyarhi (she/her) is a senior studying international and public affairs. Diyarhi's project with the Stone Inequality Initiative investigates the impact of wealth inequality in immigrant communities in New York City. A substantial portion of her work will adopt a narrative style, and it will be complemented with nonfiction pieces focusing on policy matters. These pieces will explore various facets of immigration policies in the U.S., specifically focusing on entry and adjustment. She will also look into housing policies in New York City, examining how wealth is concentrated in certain communities while rendering others desolate. Upon graduating from Brown University Diyarhi will be working in government and public sector consulting.
