A former product manager at Facebook, Frances Haugen has testified in front of Congress and engaged with lawmakers internationally on how to best address the negative externalities of social media platforms. In her talk at Brown, Haugen will discuss how individuals can advocate for social media reforms and be a force for good within the tech industry.
