New Indigenous Language Offered at Brown - Fall '20

The Native American and Indigenous Studies Initiative, along with the Department of Hispanic Studies and the Center for Language Studies are excited to announce the introduction of a new Indigenous Language course to be offered at Brown this Fall. LANG 0100:Nahuatl for Beginners will offer students an introduction into the most widely-spoken indigenous language in Mexico and North America. Taught by Professor Edward De la Cruz, the Director of the Zacatecas Institute for Teaching and Research in Ethnology (IDIEZ), this class will be taught completely online, and meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 10:00am to 11:50am.
