Dr. Lester is involved in ongoing research collaboration with Gabrielle Bocchese da Cunha, MD, Ph.D. in Porto Alegre in studies of infants at risk for poor behavioral and developmental outcome (e.g. preterm infants, infants with prenatal drug exposure), the role of the caregiving environment in mediating long term outcome and the development of intervention programs.
