Are the United States and China headed toward a major conflict across the Taiwan Strait? Leaders in Beijing and Washington are using increasingly heated rhetoric and both sides appear to view the likelihood of war as rising rapidly. This talk will assess the prospects for cross-Strait stability and what leaders in the United States, China, and Taiwan can do to avoid a conflict.
