James Heintz

Andrew Glyn Professor of Economics and Associate Director, Political Economy Research Institute, University of Massachusetts, Amherst

James Heintz has published widely on employment, economic policy, labor standards, international trade, clean energy, and human rights. He has worked with the International Labor Organization, the United Nations Development Program, the UN Research Institute for Social Development, and the Economic Commission for Africa. Part of his work has involved examining the relationships between economic policy and social and economic rights in conjunction with various human rights organizations.
