New analysis of U.S. aid to Afghanistan

Watson's Costs of War project released a new paper on U.S. reconstruction aid to Afghanistan finds that most of the $104 billion in US aid during the 13-year war has gone to funding the Afghan police and military and to counternarcotics rather than to education, transportation, agriculture, or health care.
