Deus is Chief Executive Officer Joy of Community Foundation Uganda and Chairman/ Director, HEVIA Uganda He carries immeasurable experience as a seasoned Social Worker, Agriculturalist and Medical professional. He is one of the most experienced Medical Professional in the Engari Community.

As a seasoned Social Worker he has championed a number of humanitarian projects within his community that has focused on food security, hygiene, poverty eradication, improving oh health and fight against illiteracy.

Currently, Deus is serving as the Chair for HEVIA Uganda and he is a Chief Executive Officer Joy of Community Foundation Uganda. In these institutions, his major role has been spearheading roll out of the humanitarian activities in Engari focusing on Education, Health and Social life. He has also participated in a number of Humanitarian Projects which among others include; Access and Utilization of Sexual and Reproductive Health Services by Refugee Women supported by USAID in Rwamwanja Refugee Settlement, Facilitated training in Rwamwanja refugees settlement in Menstrual Hygiene and Management.

He has until recently been holding a most senior executive position in an institution responsible for promoting and implementing Humanitarian Work within the Community. He is also one of the few highly trained medical experts in the community having attended key courses, and other forums on Human rights. These events have been sponsored by multilateral agencies such as the World Bank, the African Development Bank, the Commonwealth, USAID and the Government of Uganda.
