Maggie Murphy

Program Manager, Center for Human Rights and Humanitarian Studies

Maggie Murphy (she/her) is the Program Manager at the Center for Human Rights and Humanitarian Studies at the Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs. Before joining CHRHS, she was Program Coordinator at Brown University's Center for the Study of Race and Ethnicity in America (CSREA). Maggie holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Human Rights Law from Queen's University Belfast, where she conducted research on forced displacement caused by the impacts of climate change. Maggie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, accompanied by a minor in Environmental Studies, from Loyola University Maryland in 2020.
