Rashmi Sharma

Dr. Rashmi Sharma is a physician trained in conflict and disaster medical care delivery and management with extensive field experience. Born and raised in Nepal, she studied medicine in Kathmandu university and holds a Masters in International Health from the Swiss Tropical Institute, Switzerland. Rashmi recently completed a Fellowship in Disaster Medicine and Emergency Preparedness at The Warren Alpert Medical School, Brown University.  For the last six years, she has been working as a physician with several charities and aid groups that provide access to health care and medical services in remote locations in Nepal, Haiti, Kenya, Tanzania and South Sudan. She has extensive experience working with Médecins Sans Frontiers (MSF) at various posts in Nigeria, Somalia, Ethiopia, and South Sudan.
