Xuanjie "Coco" Huang

IAPA Refugee Dream Center Research Assistant

Coco (Xuanjie) Huang is a first-year student at Brown University planning to study International and Public Affairs. In addition to her work as a research assistant at Refugee Dream Center & CHRHS, she is a fellow of Brown Effective Altruism and a member of Brown Daily Herald. She has research experience around Chinese social policies regarding political and ethnic minorities. She has done research at the border of China and Myanmar and has published papers about career education for ethnic minorities. Besides, Coco is interested in social entrepreneurship and has worked with a range of nonprofits around social justice. She wants to pursue a career in the humanitarian sector after graduation.
