Bob Hackey, Professor of Health Policy and Management (Providence College), says of the proposed merger between CVS Health and Aetna, "This is a very innovative model. I think this is something that really has the potential to disrupt the healthcare industry.” Hackey also commented that the proposed merger is a "defensive move" with Amazon's interest in entering the pharmacy market.
