Alfred Taubman Center for American Politics and Policy, Senior Fellow in International and Public Affairs, and Visiting Professor of the Practice of Political Science Richard Arenberg called it "remarkable" that the office has managed to maintain its nonpartisan posture while the rest of Congress has become steadily more polarized.
