Rep. Bob Inglis, a six-term congressman from South Carolina, will speak about his free-enterprise approach to combating climate change. Inglis believes that the effects and risks of climate change are real and that conservatives need to propose energy policies that will allow the free market to determine the best solutions to this urgent issue.
Inglis is the founding executive director of the Energy and Enterprise Initiative, an organization that advocates for a long-term, stable energy policy to achieve energy security and avoid the unnecessary risks of a changing climate.
