MPP student is a radio guest on WARL's "Renewable Now"

Alexa LeBoeuf MPP ’13 will be a guest on the Wednesday, February 27, 2013 broadcast of “Renewable Now” to discuss a current project between Rhode Island College and The Apeiron Institute for Sustainable Living.

The goal for the project is to develop a strong case for why and how sustainability education should be integrated into teacher education programs at Rhode Island College. LeBoeuf is part of team of five graduate students from Brown University’s Taubman Center for Public Policy that is compiling a report outlining how to pursue Apeiron’s vision. The team will present their completed report to Apeiron at the Taubman Center in May.

The Apeiron Institute, based in Providence, Rhode Island, is a nonprofit organization that seeks to educate the public about sustainability issues. “Renewable Now,” hosted by Paul Arpin, is a radio program focused on sustainability.
