Defending the Filibuster: The Soul of the Senate by Richard A. Arenberg and Robert B. Dove has been awarded the gold medal as the best political science book of the year (2012) by Foreword Reviews magazine. The award was announced at the American Library Association (ALA) Annual Conference in Chicago.
