Research Conference

This day-long conference addressed different dimensions of the sources and state of citizenship and the twenty-first century American city and considered what might be done to better support local democratic engagement and representation. This conference included researchers from institutions including Brown University, Cornell University, Columbia University, Harvard University, Johns Hopkins University, Michigan State University, Princeton University, Rutgers University-Newark, SUNY-Albany, University of California-Merced, and University of Pennsylvania
