This two-day conference marked the U.S. Naval War College’s sixth Women, Peace and Security Conference, convened this year at the Watson Institute and hosted in collaboration with the Watson Institute and the Taubman Center. This year’s conference theme was "Promoting Global Leadership." The conference included researchers and practitioners from institutions including U.S. Naval War College, Canadian Defense Academy, Uruguay Naval War College, Jamaica Defense Force, Armada de Chile, Canadian Forces College, Japan Self-Defense Forces, Daniel K. Inouye Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies, Nevada Air National Guard, University of Vermont, Johns Hopkins University, Marine Corps University, U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, Center for Cyber and Homeland Security, United States Air Force, Hayes Group International, Sandia National Laboratories, U.S. Naval Reserve, One Earth Future Foundation, Harvard Extension School.
