Valerie Tutson of the Rhode Island Black Storytellers (RIBS) will lead a workshop on best practices and the art of storytelling.
This event is Part III of a series of community events — pláticas — designed to empower Latinos on how to tell their story to a live audience. You will learn the difference between cultural storytelling and personal story sharing. Both can be powerful, but they are different art forms.
