Transportation Orientation + ICE Watch Training Hosted by AMOR RI - Alianza para Movilizar Nuestra Resistencia

Monday, April 1, 2019

6:30pm – 8:30pm

PrYSM 669 Elmwood Ave Suite B13, Box 13, Providence RI 02907

Come support AMOR's work by signing up to become a volunteer with our transportation team! AMOR regularly receives requests for rides from community members who need to get to court dates, ICE check-ins, go visit incarcerated loved ones, etc., and we aim to support our community by helping them get where they need to go. In this orientation, you will learn how the transportation team works and how to plug in!

The second half of the event will be an ICE Watch training, where volunteers can learn the basics of ICE watching and be able to become a part of AMOR's ICE Watch group. We encourage all transportation volunteers (even if you have gone through an orientation with us before) to come to the ICE Watch training so that you can be prepared for different scenarios that may come up when you are giving rides.

**Dinner will be provided. Please come at 6:15 to get food so that we can start promptly at 6:30. Let us know if you need childcare to attend this event, have dietary restrictions, or have any other needs or requests in order to make this event accessible to you**
