Join the Department of Hispanic Studies for the Colombia portion of their film series, "Defiant Memory, Enduring Voices: Transitional Justice in Latin America." This event is a roundtable discussion with invited participants Daniela Abad (dir. Carta), Mai Hunt (PhD candidate, Hispanic Studies), Professor Juliana Martinez (American University), and Manuel Moscoso (PhD candidate, Political Science) about the Colombian films Carta a una sombra (2015), dirs. Daniela Abad and Miguel Salazar and La sirga (2012), dir. William Vega. Films will be viewed online prior to the event, asynchronously (see links below).
