 In the Eye of the Storm: Archaeological Heritage in the Eastern Caribbean

John Crock (University of Vermont) and Jay Haviser (St. Maarten Archaeological Center) will be giving a presentation entitled "In the Eye of the Storm: Archaeological Heritage in the Eastern Caribbean" as part of our ongoing lecture series on New Directions in Caribbean Archaeology (https://brown.edu/go/CaribbeanArchaeology), hosted from Brown University. 
The talk will focus on the impacts of the disastrous 2017 hurricane season on the museums and archaeological sites of St. Maarten and Anguilla, and will explore strategies for archaeological  heritage management in a region facing increasingly strong and frequent storms as a result of climate change.
