CLACS Welcomes Events & Communications Coordinator Theresa Paiva

Theresa has over 24 years of experience working in graphic design. An award winning designer, she has been the recipient of a Davey Award and a NCAMA Classified Advertising Award for Best Transportation Ad. Theresa has served as the Director of Advertising for a multi-franchise company, the Art Director for an advertising agency, and has been self employed for over 20 years. Theresa also has extensive experience in editing, copy writing and photography which has been invaluable to her clients. She served as the teaching assistant for college level photography courses while at the University of Rochester. She has also created and taught a photography based therapeutic art program for youth ages 5-18, taught figure and power skating, coached girls ice hockey, directed a prevention intervention program for at-risk youth, taught Spinning for over 16 years, and has worked as a substitute teacher. Theresa is excited to be joining CLACS and CMES. She is a graduate of the University of Rochester with a BA in Psychology and from the Computer Graphic Design Certificate Program at Rhode Island School of Design.
