Research Manager in the Economic Youth and Sustainable Development of the Directorate of the Commonwealth Secretariat

Dr. Terri-Ann Gilbert-Roberts is Research Manager in the Economic Youth and Sustainable Development of the Directorate of the Commonwealth Secretariat which represents 56 Member States. She advocates for evidence-based and inclusive development policy, including strategies for (youth) citizen participation in governance. She writes about Caribbean regionalism and the politics of development, including in her most recent edited collections on Youth Participation in the Caribbean: Politics and Development 2022, and Caribbean Integration: Uncertainty in a Time of Global Fragmentation, 2022. She is a Jamaican regionalist and founding Chair of the ‘50/50’ Youth Research Cluster at the University of the West Indies.
