9:00am – 10:30am
Kapstein Room, Brown Faculty Club
All meetings are held 9-10:30am in the Kapstein Room of the Brown Faculty Club (second floor) and are open to all scholars at Brown — faculty, visiting fellows, postdoctoralfellows, and graduate students. Breakfast will be provided to all registered attendees. To RSVP to any or all of the workshops, and to receive precirculated materials and other announcements, please contact Jonathan Lande at Jonathan_Lande@Brown.edu.The Brown Legal History Workshop offers a regular forum for scholars at Brown to share ideasengaging the themes of law and legal history—broadly construed and unrestricted by geography, chronology, or discipline. Our goal is to use one another’s work-in-progress or research questions to generate discussions of interest to all but of particular help to an individual presenter. The climate we seek to create is informal and interdisciplinary, and we are open to all kinds of presentations. Anyone wishing to present in future semesters—faculty, visiting fellows, postdoctoral fellows, graduate students—should contact one of the workshop's organizers:
