Kartik Venkatesh Presents Research at International Symposium

Dr. Karthik Venkatesh, a post-doctoral research fellow at Brown's Alpert Medical school, presented last week at the 2013 Chennai ART Symposium. The international symposium is organized by the YRG Centre for AIDS Research and Education (YRGCARE). Dr. Venkatesh highlighted two decades of Brown funded collaborative research examining the HIV/AIDS epidemic in South India, on behalf of the medical school and the Office of International Affairs.

YRGCARE is a non-governmental HIV/AIDS care organization that has been engaged in a vibrant collaboration with Brown University and the Alpert Medical School for nearly 20 years. The partnership between Brown and YRGCARE has yielded more than 200 scientific published manuscripts.
