On January 19, 2017, Brown University Professor Bhrigupati Singh had a public conversation with Artist Subodh Gupta discussing the work he'd done in response to Singh's book. Gupta's work, titled Who ate up the forests, was a centerpiece at the 10th annual Jaipur Literature Festival, which has become known as one of the largest literary festivals in the world.
