In his October 5, 2018 Indian Express article, Ashutosh Varshney comments on Mohan Bhagwat, RSS Chief's, public speeches given in Deli last month where he said he wanted to tell there nation what RSS was all about and dispel widely prevalent misconceptions. Varhsney concentrates on four issues arguing that on two of these issues - education and affirmative action - the RSS has changed, and on the other two - Muslims and acceptence of India's Constitution - its new departures from its original positions are not substansive. He argues that the underlying RSS philosophy remains fundamentally contradictory to the core of the Indian Constitution. Read the full review.
