Professor Prerna Singh's research on why people take up vaccines was featured in ABC Radio National's May 12th, 2020 episode of Big Ideas podcast titled "Communication as a tool to fight pandemics." This episode asks: what as the Goddess of Smallpox to do with eradicating this disease in China and India? These countries with similar epidemiological, socioeconomic, and demographic conditions have experienced strikingly different levels of containment.
