Professor Varshney Reviews Madhav Khosla's New Book on India's Democracy

Madhav Khosla (Columbia Law School and Ashoka University) recently published a book on India's democratic origins, entitled India's Founding Moment (Harvard University Press). Khosla argues that political philosophy has ignored India's democratic origins, a gap he seeks to remedy.
