Health Servies Research PhD Candidate, Bishnu Thapa and co-author, Sushant Joshi's paper "Socioeconomic risk factors of hypertension and blood pressure among persons aged 15–49 in Nepal: a cross-sectional study" was published in the British Medical Journal Open on Wednesday, June 1st, 2022. "This study estimated the prevalence of hypertension, in accordance with the American College of Cardiology and American Heart Association’s 2017 guidelines, and examined the association between various socioeconomic factors and systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP) and hypertension." Read the full paper.
