Project Title: Technocratic knowledge and neoliberal planning: the role of consultants in urban climate adaptation in India

Ike's research analyzes processes associated with urban climate adaptation in India. He focuses on the consultants and adaptation experts who in large part guide adaptation initiatives in Indian cities, looking at how these experts conceptualize climate vulnerability and craft adaptive policies in response. Ike is also interested in how such policies interact with the particularities of Indian urban governance and planning.
