CLACS launches 2021-2022 Faculty Lecture Series

Talks by Jill Kuhnheim, Dixa Ramirez and Adrian Hernandez

CLACS is delighted to announce that it will host a CLACS Faculty Lecture Series during the 2021-2022 academic year.

The series will feature members of our CLACS Affiliated Faculty.

The series begins on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 with a talk by Jill S. Kuhnheim, a Visiting Professor in Hispanic Studies at Brown, titled "Questions about Transdisciplinary Pedagogy: Ideas and Practices."

On Thursday, October 21, Adrián Emmanuel Hernández-Acosta of the Department of Hispanic Studies and Cogut Institute will give a talk titled "Introducing a Mortuary Poetics: Mourning, Caribbean Literature, and African Diaspora Religions."

Finally, Associate Professor of American Studies and English Dixa Ramírez D'Oleo speak about "Indolence, Insolence, and Blackness in the Hills" on Monday, November 8 at noon.
