Birss Memorial Library Exhibition: Gabriel García Márquez and 'One Hundred Years of Solitude'

As part of the 17th Annual Professor John Howard Birss, Jr. Memorial Lecture Series and Library Exhibition, “Gabriel García Márquez and ‘One Hundred Years of Solitude’” commemorates the 50th anniversary of the publication of his major work of literature. The exhibition is open daily through March 31 during the library's operating hours. Items are on display courtesy of the Harry Ransom Center at the University of Texas at Austin, Redwood Library and others.

Latin American Student Organization (LASO) Spring Meeting

Join LASO (Latin American Student Organization) on Thursday, February 16th 2017 for the first meeting of the semester! The meeting will take place in the BCSC (Brown Center for Students of Color) Formal Lounge at 8 p.m. FOOD to try will be provided. This gathering will serve as an opportunity to meet other Latinx peers or those who are interested in learning more about the Latinx community. Events will also be planned throughout the semester. Everyone is welcome!
