Professor Glenn Loury is the Merton P. Stoltz Professor of the Social Sciences at Brown University, where he teaches in the Economics Department. A Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and member of the Council on Foreign Relations, Professor Loury is one of the leading experts on the economic and social impacts of U.S. policies of mass incarceration, and in particular their effects on black communities.
