About the Film
The Magician (Hokkabaz) is a 2006 comedy-drama film directed by Cem Yılmaz and Ali Taner Baltacı about a failed magician, Iskender (Cem Yılmaz), who takes off for a tour around Turkey with his best friend, Maradona (Tuna Orhan), in an attempt to make some money. However, the trip is turned upside down when Iskender's estranged father, Sait (Mazhar Alanson), joins the pair, along with another unexpected companion, Fatma (Özlem Tekin).
